The Monochrome Way 101

I absolutely love monochrome and feel that it is quite an effortless way to look chic. If you are someone who wants to dress sophisticated or are looking for some classy wardrobe options, you should read this one!

Monochrome is anything but boring. Team it up with suitable pieces of clothing or accessories and you can rule the world in them, quite literally.

This blog post is about three looks I have created using a monochrome theme which can be easily incorporated in our daily wear. Also tried to include some retro vibes since they go so well with these classics.

Look no. 1 : Polka Dot Dress

Polka dots are forever in and I admit I have a soft corner for them! Here I have paired a boat-neck polka dot dress with black lace-up shoes and some silver jewellery. You never have to really think twice about polka dots, especially in a monochrome tone. They are classics and always look cute.

Look no.2 : Checkered Peplum top with denims

A monochrome checkered peplum top definitely gives a vintage feel. Here, I have teamed it with denims to make it less formal and with a pair of black lace-up shoes. The deep back design of the top is the highlight.

Look no.3 : Black sheer top with pearl buttons and denims.

A black blouse with pearl button detailing, tucked in with a pair of denims and accessorized with a scarf, worn as a head-band and a pair of slip-ons with pearl detailing to match the outfit.

Pearl detailing is very 'in' currently, whether it be on tops, denims or footwear. They surely add a classy touch to any outfit.

Well that's all for this one! Hope you liked my ideas on monochrome dressing and would try out something inspired by it. Comment below which was your favourite look :) To know more about me and my journey, follow me on Instagram and Facebook.

Till the next time, as I always say "Keep it stylish but most importantly keep it YOU".
