Favourite trends of 2017
Hello everyone! December is here and 2017 is coming to an end. Like every year, this year too in the fashion line, we saw a variety of trends emerging and fading. As usual, some trends were a rage all over the world whether it was through the trickle up or trickle down theory, while some fade away after a short life span.
Although there are many trends which captured my attention this year like the pom pom trend or the patch/stickers on clothing trend or the ones which succeeded from the previous years like distressed denims or white sneakers etc, this blog post is about three main trends (not pertaining to any particular season) that are my personal favourites and which I feel should last at least for a couple of years.
1) Embroidery
The embroidery-on-everything is one of my most loved trend of 2017. Whether it is on clothing, bags or even shoes, they look super gorgeous and are the statement makers of the whole outfit.
Tip : Pair neutrals with embroidered clothing or accessories since you definitely want them to be the highlight of your look.

2) Culottes/Wide legged Trousers
Comfy, Classy and Chic. These pair of pants effortlessly make you look stylish whenever you wear them. Be it be solids, printed ones or striped ones like mine, you can never go wrong.
Tip : It is endlessly versatile. You can tuck in your top and wear a pair of high-waist culottes or wear a shirt dress or a kurta over it, it will look good anyway.

3) Loops
This season's favourite accessory including mine are loops. This old-school style has made a fierce comeback and can be a very good example of the trickle down theory. From luxury brands to high street brands to flee markets - loops of every size and colour are everywhere!
Tip : For the maximum impact, tie your hair in a pony or bun and let the loops do the talking.
