A day in one of Shillong's best cafes!

On a rainy Saturday morning in Shillong, we decided to head out for brunch and chose one of the most talked about cafes in town - Dylan's Cafe.

Located opposite St.Edmund's, we were welcomed by a green building with trees that had round hanging playcards scribbled with the cafe's name. We stepped up to the first floor covered by CD shaped decors all over and Bob Dylan's famous quote 'All i can do is be me whoever that is'.

There was a open terrace sitting and another one inside. We chose to sit inside with a view of the entire cafe. Be it be the handpainted graphiti on the ceiling, the kettle plants or the caged lights - the beauty in all the details just blew us away.

We are definitely very hungry and ordered a 'Hammered Hangover Breakfast' and 'Momography' with some tea and coffee. We finished off with a gorgeous blueberry cupcake. The quirky menu indeed was one of the major point of attraction. And we knew we had to come back to cover up all the amazing dishes it offered.

My look for this super cool place was a basic black T-shirt dress, teamed with a long maroon shrug and and a pair of white sneakers with floral embroidery details. I also added a pair of clear white glasses to complete the casual chic look.

Some cool standies and posters we spotted there :

And the icing to the cake was a live performance by a local artist which made the crowd cheer in pride. It was definitely worth all the time we invested and were disheartened that we had to leave.

That's all for this one! I would recommend everyone to visit this place atleast once when in Shillong :)

Till the next time,

Lots of love

Benaaz 😘
