'One is never overdressed or under-dressed with a black dress.' Most people love black and why not? It stands out definitely. But we hardly consider it as a summer-friendly colour or something that can be worn as a day wear. However when I saw this basic yet beautiful double layered black maxi from Koovs, I definitely couldn't resist buying it. So instead of wearing it as it is, I decided to style it for two different occasions. Here's how I wore it: The maxi -
Look no.1: Casual chic Maxi dress=Maxi skirt?? Yes! Throw an over sized t-shirt over your maxi and tie a knot on it's one side and team it with gladiators or strapy flats. You can also add a pair of square glasses for a geeky-chic finish.

Look no. 2: Dress it up.
An evening out with the girls and you are wondering if the black maxi would be too basic for the occasion? Well dress it up without going overboard. Wear a plaid shirt over your maxi with a thin belt to hold it together and a pair of matching heels.
