Gift me!

With Christmas around the corner and so many birthdays in December, all we vouch for are gifts. Whether small or big, friends or family, letting someone feel special through gifts is always in TREND:P I always find 'online gifting' a very convenient way of gifting others. It's easy, hassle free and gives you the option to compare various products simultaneously! So here are some websites I find are the most suitable for shopping gifts online. P.S- These are meant for small gifts like a birthday or festive greetings.

1) The Post box: I was very pleased to have received a wonderful notebook as a gift recently from this site on my birthday, since I already was a big fan of it. The Postbox is a Chennai based studio which emerged from the idea of the need to recognize graphic design through various products. PRODUCTS: Bags, mobile covers, laptop sleeves, stationery, mugs, lamps, cushions, coasters, stoles, pottery and bracelets. USP: Promoting and using a very talented group of graphic designers who have or are making their mark in the industry.

2) Propshop24: Calling themselves 'curators of cool', this website has fun and unique products for gifting from all over the world! A gift I received from here included a "Wanderlust" notebook and a colourful dream catcher.

PRODUCTS: Office props, home props, gadgets, personal, fashion and bar and party.

USP: Curated selection of products from design houses around the world including Indian designers and in-house designs.

3) Bewakoof.com Bewakoof is a cool casual-wear brand for the youth. What I really adore from this website are their amazing collection of mobile covers (I have ordered twice from here). Priced at very reasonable prices, their products are colourful and unique.

Products: Apparels (men and women) and mobile covers.

USP: Quirky, unique mobile cover designs at affordable prices.

4) Cumbak: We all are familiar with this brand. Chumbak was founded five years back in Bangalore with a wide variety of beautiful 'Indian' graphics on its products. I own a lot of Chumbak products and also gift others from here. Products: Stationery, home decor, apparel and accessories. USP: Their unique Indian graphics and colourful products.

5) Cupcakes and closet: It is a curated e-commerce website offering a comprehensive, hand-picked collection of apparel, shoes and accessories for women. I discovered this website in Instagram and couldn't resist purchasing bags from their wonderful collection. A fast fashion brand, this website is suitable for gifting all the style divas. Products: Apparel, accessories and footwear.

USB: Trendy sunnies which are also favourites of some celebrities.

6) Cyankart: Targeted towards the young crowd, this website curates unique, trendy products created by the brand itself. A gift from this website seemed delightful to me by a friend. It was a unique wall clock with "Wanderlust" written on it and thus could be used as a home decor piece too. Products: Apparels (boys and girls), accessories, home decor and mobile cases.

USP: Fairly new yet unique, trendy designs that captures the young consumers.

7) Daily Objects : Daily Objects works with avant-garde designers from around the world, to bring discerning Indian consumers the most original cell phone cases. Also an Instagram find, the variety and creativity of these mobile cases are something I cannot resist. Products: Mobile covers and MacBook sleeves.

8) Letter Note: Letter Note provides fun stuff that spreads good vibes. A website that provide simple, exciting and inspiring products that catches the eye. Perfect for notebook lovers (like me). Products: Stationery, lifestyle, fashion, phone cases and graphic art. USP: Their mantra of living a simple life, with good vibes, of celebrating little things and shared memories and dreams reflects in their every product.

10) Happily Unmarried: Established in 2003, this website makes fun products which are targeted to the youth. A very popular brand, it also has outlets all over the country. A gift from a friend of four colourfully painted chai cups is something I adore a lot from here. Products: Apparel, home accessory, bags, bar, stationery, phone covers and miscellaneous items.

USP: Cool, unique designs that youth can relate to instantly.
