Hungry Much?
An hardcore foodie that I am, how can I abstain myself from posting about food? Some eat to live, while some live to eat. And I definitely fall in the second category ;) So I recently moved into Mumbai for my new job and lo behold, my office is located at a place considered not so happening, Navi Mumbai. I rented a appartment nearby for my convenience. But no matter where you live, good food is always accessible I believe! So here are some places I visited over my weekends with friends. Hope my review of the same helps, at least for people living in Mumbai or other people with similar restaurants in their vicinity.
1) POT POURRI
What I loved about this place was the look of the restaurant - a sports bar mainly, yet a very cosy place that is suitable for hanging out with friends. The music was good as well as the service.
We ordered a "Roasted Chicken Platter" for five of us along with some drinks. It was indeed yummy and quite filling. I ended up having so much chicken that I was craving for some veggies at the end of the day.
The orange flavoured water served was something I relished too.
Food taste : Good Quantity: Sufficient Service: Prompt Pricing: 1300 for two people, a little over rated according to the food served.

2) POP TATE'S
Pop Tate's was delightfully awesome. A sports bar again but the main attraction that swoon me was the yummy food they served. The ambience was great with colourful furniture and cool music.
We had ordered "Chessy Garlic Bread", "Grilled Chicken Sizzler in BBQ sauce" and an "apple and cranberry mocktail".
Food taste : Yummy Quantity: Sufficient Service: Prompt Pricing: 1000 for 2 persons, which is worth the food and ambience.

3) CANDIES I think there will be a very few section of people (among youngsters) that aren't aware of Candies in Mumbai. Located in the focal point of the city- Bandstand, Candies is a three storied extensive restaurant serving the most delicious food totally worth their prices. What I loved most about this "must" visit place were the sitting arrangements placed all over the building - some in closed AC spaces, some in the balcony, passage way and some even in their roof-top. There is also a huge tree that is placed in between of the building.
